Over the past week, people from all across Alabama came to
ArturDavis2010.com to share their ideas about how to move our state
forward.
Hundreds of people joined us in this online
brainstorming effort, casting more than 2,300 votes on more than 80
different ideas to revitalize Alabama.
I recorded a short video in my campaign office to thank everyone who
joined the conversation and summarize the whole experience for everyone
else. I hope you'll watch:
Our online community produced a lot of worthwhile ideas. Some of the
leading choices included reforming Alabama's outdated 1901
constitution, reforming our education system, making our tax structure
less regressive, connecting our state through mass transit, and
creating an environmental agency with real teeth.
Over the course of this campaign, we're going to keep talking and
working until we figure out how to transform good ideas into results
when we get to Montgomery.
